It won't always make sense: Sarah

God told Abraham that Sarah was going to have a baby. He laughed (Genesis 17). They're told again understandably, Sarah laughs (Genesis 18). I mean, she was 90 the 1st time God said it. Up until this point, she hadn't been able to have a child. Why now? How? It doesn't make sense!

However, defying the odds and despite old age, in chapter 21, Sarah has Isaac and eventually becomes a "mother of nations". Crazy, right? Or is it??

I love how God's promises overpower and outrank the "facts". If He promised it, it's going to happen. No matter what. Her age and the fact that she hadn't been able to conceive never mattered...
