When you get a chance, you should read 2 Kings 20:1-6
Hezekiah was dying! Like, Isaiah told him "the Lord said get your stuff in order because you're on your way out of here". Instead of just accepting that, Hezekiah started praying. Because he was faithful and because he prayed, his life was extended 15 years!!
Sooo inspiring! Hezekiah could have just accepted his fate and checked out, but he didn't. Use that as motivation. Don't check out too soon. Even if everything points to "it" being over. Make that last push/plea/effort! It may seemingly make no sense at the time, but who knows what could happen?!
Another takeaway: God hears you when you cry out to Him and He responds to your faith and faithfulness.
